With less stress
1. Listen to some Christmas music
2. Pull out a few choice decorations. You don't need to buy new except for lights. Stop being competitive about who has the best decorations. Christmas should be from the heart.
4. Avoid times of shopping rush. Shopping for love ones should be fun. Online can be fun to and no lines. Big sales can be more expensive because it pressures you to buy things you don't need.
5. Think of ways to help others.
6. Instead of having kids write a wish list have them write a thankful list.
7. Make at least one gift. My kids asked for Multimedia art I created for friends. So I am making them each their own as an extra gift.
8. Its okay to buy wrapping paper but you can also use drawings, Sunday paper comics, maps, coloring pages, cloth bags, gift bags, or construction paper.
9. Put on a favorite Christmas movie. For me that movie is a Muppet Christmas carol.
